　白山で高山植物に対して影響を与える低地性外来植物が問題になっています。
　Lowland alien plants that affect alpine plants are becoming a problem in Mt. Hakusan.
　オオバコやスズメノカタビラをはじめとする白山に侵入した低地性外来植物を一般ボランティアの募集を行い、
　除去作業を行う毎年恒例の事業です。
　This is an annual project that recruits general volunteers to remove lowland alien plants that
　have invaded Mt. Hakusan, such as plantain and sycamore.
　この事業は、自主事業と環境省からの受託事業とから構成されています。
　This project consists of an independent project and a project commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment.
　石川県白山自然保護センターやそれぞれの地区の環白山保護利用管理協会の会員などと協力して行っています。
　We are collaborating with the Ishikawa Prefecture Hakusan Nature Conservation Center and members of the

　Hakusan Kankan Conservation and Utilization Management Association in each area.
　この活動は、下記の法律により誰でもできることではありませんのでお気を付けください。
　Please note that this activity is not something that anyone can do due to the following laws.
　外来植物除去活動は、環境省より「白山国立公園白山生態系維持回復事業」の認定を受けて活動しています。
　Our alien plant removal activities are certified by the Ministry of the Environment as a
　"Hakusan National Park Hakusan Ecosystem Maintenance and Restoration Project." 　期間（更新）：令和　２年４月１日から令和７年３月３１日まで。

　（特別地域）第二十条
　十一 　高山植物その他の植物で環境大臣が指定するものを採取し、又は損傷すること。
　十二 　環境大臣が指定する区域内において当該区域が本来の生育地でない植物で、当該区域における風致の維持に
　　　　影響を及ぼすおそれがあるものとして環境大臣が指定するものを植栽し、又は当該植物の種子をまくこと。
　（特別保護地区）第二十一条
　　七 　木竹以外の植物を採取し、若しくは損傷し、又は落葉若しくは落枝を採取すること。
　　八 　木竹以外の植物を植栽し、又は植物の種子をまくこと。
　　第四章　罰則 　第八十三条 　次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、六月以下の懲役又は五十万円以下の罰金に処する。

　Q：外来植物とは？
　　　What are alien plants?
　A：外来植物とは、もともと白山に生育していなかった植物のことです。
　　　Alien plants are plants that did not originally grow in Mt. Hakusan.
　　　平野部や外国から入ってきた植物など、いろいろあります。
　　　There are many kinds of plants that have been introduced from the plains and foreign countries.

　Q：どうやって外来植物が侵入したの？
　　　How did alien plants get introduced?
　A：登山者の靴や衣服、ザック、ヘリコプターで運ばれる資材、白山に来る車両のタイヤなどに種子が付着して侵入します。
　　　Seeds adhere to climbers' shoes and clothes, backpacks, materials transported by helicopter,
　　　and the tires of vehicles that come to Mt. Hakusan.

　Q：外来植物があるとどうしてダメなの？
　　　Why is it bad to have exotic plants?
　A：本来の白山の高山植物の住かを奪ってしまいます。
　　　It will take away the original home of Mt. Hakusan's alpine plants.
　　　白山の高山植物と外来植物が混ざって雑種ができてしまい、もともといた高山植物がいなくなってしまいます。
　　　例）ハクサンオオバコとオオバコ
　　　The alpine plants from Mt. Hakusan and exotic plants mix, creating hybrids, and the original alpine plants disappear.
　　　Example) Chinese cabbage plantain and plantain

　Q：私たちに何ができるの？
　　　What can we do?
　A：・入山前　タネを持ち込まない。
　　　　Before entering the mountain　Do not bring in seeds.
　　　・入山中　タネを外に出さない。
　　　　While climbing a mountain　Don't let the seeds go outside.
　　　　　　　　休憩時等にタネをばらまかないように気をつけましょう。
　　　　　　　　Be careful not to scatter seeds during breaks.

　Q：白山では、どのようなことをしているの？
　　　What kind of things do you do in Hakusan?
　A：タネを持ち込まない。→登山口にマットやブラシが置いてあります。
　　　Do not bring in seeds. →There are mats and brushes at the trailhead.

　Q：すでに侵入した外来植物は？
　　　What about alien plants that have already invaded?
　A：除去活動を行って除去しています。
　　　We are conducting removal activities to remove it.
　　　除去活動には多くのボランティアの皆さんの参加が必要です。
　　　Removal activities require the participation of many volunteers.

　　　※除去活動は、環境省及び土地所有者の許可、了解を得て行っています。
　　　　Removal activities are carried out with the permission and consent of the Ministry

　　　　国立公園内は動物、植物、岩石などの採集や持ち込みは自然公園法で固く禁じられています。
　　　　Collecting or bringing animals, plants, rocks, etc. into national parks is strictly prohibited under the Natural Parks Act.

外来植物対策事業の公認キャラクター
Official character of the alien plant countermeasure project

オオバコマン(Oobakoman)が特定非営利活動法人　環白山保護利用管理協会の 外来植物対策事業の公認キャラクターとなりました。

【キャラクター作成の経緯】
[Background of character creation] ・外来植物対策活動の普及啓発に利用するためのキャラクターとして考案。
　Devised as a character to be used to spread awareness of measures against alien plants.
・外来植物として除去しているオオバコをモチーフにし、除去対象種が悪者にならないように説明するためにキャラクター化した。
　The motif is the plantain, which is being removed as an invasive plant, and has been made into a character to explain
　how to prevent the removed species from becoming evil.

　（外来植物除去活動イベントやＰＲで配布や販売をしています。）
